If you’ve read the story you know the man had a sorrowful heart

“Sell all that I own? “I don’t believe I can

I have worked for these treasures.  Let them go? Where do I start?”

Have you ever considered how you would feel if Jesus made this request of you?

A man’s status is gauged by his financial earnings.  If this request were made, what would you do?

There is something here for us all to consider, for we all have to make concessions when coming before our Lord to pray

Be it riches, or lusts or simply bad habits could we part with these for the rest of our days?

The rich you man found it was riches he craved and with which he did not wish to part

What is the one thing hardest for you to give up thereby giving Jesus your heart?

Think about it, friend.  Could you give yourself to Christ completely in body soul and spirit?

If you can then cry out for his love and forgiveness I am quite sure he will love to hear it.
