Have you ever reached out to touch someone it seems you have known forever..searching your mind for recollection of times you might have met...shared passing glance? Could it be two spirits kissed or souls collided in another lifetime, and by the grace of God have chance to meet again... ________________________________________ ________________________________________

~~~~~ They watched� as water and light danced on the ceiling, fearing their inevitable separation� eyes flooded with tears, memories created only minutes and hours before. Although strength renewed in this reunion of their souls, there is a fear within requiring comforting words of reassurance. How can it be that these two souls have found each other�s arms again ? A love so pure, rekindled as embers never faded� Their simplicity endured. Is it that light they shared separately, unknowingly, individually, that has guided their gentle, longing spirits to this day ? Yet they must part again, All be it different this lifetime. They are now one, one with the sun, the lake, the sky� And oh the joy they have shared in these precious stolen moments. They will not say goodbye� A love such as theirs will forever endure. They have found each other now and with their knowledge of time, they have uncovered a passionate trust. They will taste each other once again, join their bodies, mingle juices deliciously anointed by shared tears. There is music in the silence as they memorize each other. And as the hour draws near and the empty ache of reality closes in on this glorious time spent, they will discover strength and borrow from one another. They have plans, dreams, together they have looked into the future� yet not as in the past. They will not wait a lifetime to meet again. Their bond is solid� so filled with pleasure and understanding, They will not risk the weather of time� They are drawn to the water and light witnessed as they awakened. THIS is perfection!!
THIS is MY 'kinda' poetry!
THIS is a TRUTH that is FINALLY permeating this world...
TWIN FLAMES/SOULS are REAL and many will soon confirm that the concept is not just a concept but a reality that far surpasses our wildest dreams!
Thankyou for posting such exquisite poetry..I have read many of your poems in the last thirty minutes..I may save them all..LOL!

This is a lovely portrayal of two people -soul mates, kindred spirits who have found the perfect love, reunited from the past, yet circumstances will not allow that love to exist in the conventional world. Although overcome by sadness at impending separation, they know:
"they will share... forever, together...
They have found peace and home
in each other�s hearts.
This is a bittersweet piece for me because I know the sentiment all too well. It is a fine poem written with intimate passion from a loving caring heart, clearly deeply in love with a very special someone. You are one superb poet!

Crossroads are forever popping up with different places and different people. Life is in the details and when we pay close attention then when these crossroads pop up we know which way to go and what nudge indeed...makes the difference in us. when we choose to follow that "nudge' sometimes we find a person like ourselves or the one who...like dejavu...comes up face to face...we glide away on a waltz way ahead of others in our hearts. It's awesome to find familiar in a person you thought a stranger. Then the dance lasts forever.

OK, well... water, water everywhere... and I am now adding to it! Touched beyond measure here, Taylor, so guess I don't have to elaborate with futile words. You have expressed the inexpressible in such a word-picture - both the longing and the fulfillment... and the sad transcience until "the next time", for some.... "Their bond is solid... so filled with pleasure and understanding, They will not risk the weather of time... What a romantic you are Taylor.

"Strength renewed in this reunion of their souls" certainly adds a certain tentativeness and mystery to this construct.

What we so desperately want to remain permanent, in all the depths of what the soul and heart can feel and express, often succumbs to the reality that life is ephemeral and very little remains as we want it to.

Too often cynicism taints the soil of our gardens and even before the plants have a chance to take root they are burdened beneath the predjudices wrought from all of our past failures and broken dreams.

I agree with Jerry below, the mind is a miraculous instrument, but . . . how little the mind has to do with maintaining the deep rivers of love and relating.

Splendid indeed, and deeply felt in the penning!

This is SO utterly, whisperingly, knowingly beautiful!
Sort of a Spiritual and emotional Deja Vu - two spirits, maybe never having met... and yet, without a doubt, definitely having met! And when they've found one another - for the first time - [AGAIN] - becoming seamlessly intertwined and inseparable. Love it!

Taylor, this is a magnificent transcendent poem! You have written of soulmates as they wander through eons finding each other again and again until the time of completion, when they will forever become one! Splendidly written!

Oh, yes, indeedy, this is quite possible. The mind is a miraculous instrument. There is more unknown about the old gray matter than is known. Miracles, as far as the mind goes, is commonplace.
