you've captured the heart and soul of those who have become detached from family, work, home and their sense of being ... i found this poem connected and real ...
Other than when I lived on the streets in Philly some time ago, I still find it so hard to fathom how these people are dealing with such a complete loss...as an adult one can "maybe" see hope, but the children without parents and family, they are the ones we must grieve for...well thought out, Ron...Ed
Hopefully all will be reunited with their family again soon if they haven't been already. Many have decided to start anew and leave the past and their former residences behind them. I think it takes courage to do that and a sense of self to believe that you have enough to offer that you can succeed anywhere. I have been through devastating earthquakes in the past and all that you can do is sweep the piece of your life into a dustpan, remind yourself that there is nothing there that you truly need, avoid the feeling of emotional loss over all your stuff, take a deep breath and go on. As you know far too well, Ron, there are much worse things people have to endure than losing their stuff. You had to start over from a much more difficult place and you have had the courage to "become" once again. I am not trying to appear unsympathetic of those who lost everything, as I have been that person before, but we can go forward, start anew and continue to persue our dreams. This is a wonderful write, Ron.

Ron, I can only imagine how so very lost and sad they have to be loosing everything like that! You have captured it so well here in your words. With all that is given to them it can never replace what all they have lost! Very well done my friend!
Ron you have captured the terrible despondency these people must feel. I can only go by the way I felt when My business and home burned to the ground and I was left with nothing. It wasn't like what they are going through , but the helpless forlorn feeling of confusion and loss is surreal, and you manage to grasp it in this outstanding poem! Bravo!
This is so sad. I can't imagine the sadness, anger, and the despair the people feel; but your poem has brought these feelings to light. Hope these poor people will find their way to rebuild themselves.
This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.
God bless,
Sandie.
