Emotions In Turmoil by Bryce

I don’t know about you, but each day
brings new requests from the telephone,
mail, and email. They increase each
year and are never-ending. Wrote this
little blues song of my plight.

 Turmoil

Oh why, oh why,
do I trouble and toil?

Turmoil, turmoil, trouble and toil.

My days gets harder,
each one on this soil.
Please, oh please release me,
from this terrible toil.

Please release me from,
my trouble and sorrow.
Please, oh please release me,
from my tomorrow.

Turmoil, turmoil, trouble and toil.

Each day new challenges,
come my way.
As I address them,
time slips away.

I long for the freedom,
to act on my own.
By doing this bidding,
not one step I've grown.

Turmoil, turmoil, trouble and toil.

No time to view,
the clouds in the sky,
nor stars in the heavens,
as night passes by.

Only time to eat quickly,
and time to deep sleep.
No time for friendships,
I used to keep.

Turmoil, turmoil, trouble and toil.

The minutes of my days,
have begun to roil,
and run through my head,
a pot 'bout to boil.

If I have no relief,
I will soon explode,
so please take from on me,
this heavy load.

And I will toil no more.
No more.
No more.
Turmoil no more.

Ron,

One day at a time. That is all we can do. I admire you for what you do, keep fighting and keep moving forward, even if its baby steps. You are special.

Many blessings,

It's a piece that can almost be put to music, Ron. Life must be hard for you. I admire you so much, writing poetry and battling on.

An effective way of expressing the "turmoil" that seems ever on the increase in this world/life. Thank you, Ron. Love and peace to you,

Our beliefs are like fences. They surround us. They represent the boundaries of our experiences. I appreciate your creativity.

Oh My God, send relief to all who cannot take it anymore. We are all your children. I know that after the suffering salvation will emerge. Oh, My Lord, you showed us the beauty of the human feelings that many haven’t known. Send relief to those in pain. Love to you and to all my friends. Emile

Ron, this is an exquisite expression of overwhelmedness. I felt overwhelmed reading it, so you see how effectively you expressed this condition. I second Mr. Ed's motion: cut all power cords, light a candle, make your own music by singing, check back in with the 'frenzy' once all symptoms have subsided enough to blow the candle out (for now). ~~ Diana P.S. - these feelings you have expressed are exactly some reasons why I feel like we should not be afraid of moving along from earth life. We'll miss the sunsets, but not the solicitous too-muchness.

You have developed your friendships here...
You write it in all you pen... Those who understand your plight...
and care about you will understand this is how you reach us all...
Take your time now to enjoy what you have been missing in Mother earth...

Too much turmoil in so many modern day lives today. I often contemplate ridding myself of both phone and computer, and retreating to my cabin in the woods to enjoy what little is left of our natural world.

You bring much enjoyment via your writing to so many people. I am nearly done reading "Alone?". You open new doors of thinking which expand one's horizon. You, Ron, are an example of strength as I've never seen!

Love ya!

RON...

Well penned. There are many days when many people feel this way.
Sometimes it may be boredom from our 'hum-drum' daily routines.
Other times depression takes over for some reason. Perhaps a need exists
for something new and different? A small change in method, or attitude, or
even choice of food eaten daily? Maybe some taste that you never ever liked,
Like maybe stinky Limburger Cheese? YUK! Or maybe the opposite, denying yourself of a pleasure you have always enjoyed? Four years ago, when I spent three days in the hospital ( first time in my life ) I needed to cut back on my cholesterol intake...
I used to buy and consume a Large order of Cheese Western Fries three days a week,
The three days I worked. At first, I changed to Small order, but still 3 times a week.
Then I dropped to 2. A few weeks later, I lowered it to Once a week- 1 Small order.
Now, I have limited myself to that same order, and only on Wednesdays, sort of my
"treat" for being 'good' all week. I truly ENJOY the Hell out of them thar FRIES now!

Kind of a 'penalty-reward' system I guess. Or maybe teying some new challenge,
luke spelling words 'sdrawkcab' ? Or trying to create some new Palindromes?

"able was I ere I saw elba"

The important thing is to... NEVER EVER GIVE UP !!!
Peace my Friend!
