My first love, Louise, did that to me in my teens. I got drafted in the Army. And while I was suffering in Basic Training she dumped me for a pot-farmer. She ended up doing two years in jail when they were caught distributing. Sad story. To this day I struggle with a little war about her that's never fully gone away. Can relate to this. Nicely written. rlc

This would definitely make a wonderful song. The words mean so much and the meter is perfect. The thought and feeling is "right on"!
