just a little silly ditty on hearing of Madonna's latest fall

Madonna…

 

Madonna, I can teach you to ride,

Like you were meant to be one with your horse,

I can help to secure your seat in the saddle.

So when that horse spooks, you are likely to stay on.

 

I am just a simple horsewoman,

I have ridden myself for all of my life,

(And just for the record I’ll soon be fifty-two),

And have taught folks to ride for years.

 

So, if you’re of a mind, look me up,

I’ll be out in the barn, or riding, or teaching,

Cause you and your falls cause me concern,

And you give the poor horse a bad rap.

Could have used your advice when I was 6 and conned a neighbor into thinking I could ride. That horse took off like a bandit. I didn't fall off though, lol. My friend had to follow in the family car, climb out the window, hop on and stop the horse. I just wanted to ride sooo bad. Madonna should be concerned. She's no spring chicken and will be feeling those falls up the road. Enjoyed...Lin

You gotta love this. Who knows maybe she'll somehow see your poem and take you up on your offer. I can see it now, "Karen Vanderlaan, Equestrian Instructor to the Stars."

I have always disliked that "artistic" name, Madonna (in Italy only to name the Virgin Mary) and her shenanigans with the underwear on top of her dresses. Or her famous "Like a Virgin" with a crucifix background, couldn't we burn her a little on the stake like in the old days?
Someone need to teach her respect before riding.
