Poem Artwork

Samhain silhouettes flap

Trying to sit on my lap

Ghoulish beings from hell

With horror stories to tell

Skies Are Salivating

My windows are bleeding

White blood from heaven

Matching my drizzling tears

That cause sobs of distress

Which make the heart bleed

Like the sky when it cries

So I am surrounded by the

Liquefaction of dissatisfaction

On this day of dark wetness

Soul becomes slivered silver

Limbs become languorous

Mind becomes manic

Senses slither down

To join on the ground

With the rain that trickles

Into  gutters as traffic splashes

My genes into smithereens

While I wind up under a

Drain pipe with my pipe dreams

Just another Halloween dream?

etw

Soul becomes slivered silver.... EXCELLENT!!

So evocative, Eileen and makes the spirit of Halloween somehow tangible in the REAL world. Well-expressed and very unique to sum up that inexplicable shiver in the liver when all's wrong with the world... the duality of the "moving" experience! Upwards and onwards as ever! Exciting times, none the less. Health and happiness in your new abode and safety in the transition. LOL K xx

This one had the seasons aura in it.......... I have never been a big fan of the festivity in dream or wake.... The expression is well here.

This is quite a haunting...dark and chilling indeed. Powerfully strong work, ...that almost matches 4 hours waiting in a departure lounge lol ;) ...'Skies are salivating, my windows are bleeding, white blood from heaven..' always so much power in your pen that never fails to stimulate the mind Lady Minx. Love from one happily landed Imp ;)

I truly hope so; quite chilling, Tiger Lily.

I once ended up under a drain pipe, and the pipe burst, and I was soon covered in sewage - I wish it was just a dream!
