Oh the mountains and the hideaways therein, so sublime, but you have the best of both, what a lovely place to retreat.

I once pulled off the Avenue of Giants on a little lane and slept in my car. When I awoke, a mist was still hanging in the branches and the morning sun was straining to light the glen with beams . It felt like being in a living Cathedral. Why anyone would want to cyut them down is beyond me.

We share the same feeling for the land, the trees, and the deer. So lucky to have experienced such grand sights most city bound never see.

On the shore by the ocean sounds wonderful, but a strong cup of coffee on the old log cabin porch sounds even better. Be on the lookout for an old woodsman, and four very rowdy dogs. Got any dog biscuits around?
