I see your beaming face
smile through winters lace
snowflakes so magical
floating by ephemeral
we romp in frosty joy
snowballs for our toy
we kiss with arctic lips
touch gloved fingertips
we hug and feel a thaw
our hearts do a see-saw
feel like Christmas lights
lit up for our delight
for this precious holiday
the woods is where we stay
in our comfy cabin waiting
fire lit next bed, for mating
jumping on our happy sleigh
we go merrily on our way
sending joy from winters cove
holiday blessings, filled with love !
Mmmm.... tingles me right down to my toes. Would have LOVED to have been on a Road To... somewhere with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope either side me on the sleigh... or even Frosty The Snowman, come to think of it...
