Poem Artwork

Words and pictures are an extension
of how we portray what we have learned
and for most of us we all learn similar
things, so that we try to find new ways
to share what we all know and feel

Yet, there are some things we cannot
improve upon or change in any way
they become symbolic of what we
want to convey and must resort to the
way they have always been portrayed

Such is the graphic that accompanies
these words...A manger scene symbolic
of the way it was when Christ was born
I find it incredible that it is the same in
every nation in the entire world, this scene
and this story, never changed nor has the
message, still the same over 2000 years!

It is awesome that billions of people worldwide
share adoration on Christmas in the same way!

I wish you all a blessed and Merry Christmas!
"Oh Come Let Us Adore Him!"

Love,
Eileen

very touching write dear friend. The story of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is amazing every time I read, watch, or tell it. I always enjoying telling my first grade students the Christmas story each year, I am always amazed that there are usually two or three children whom have never heard this magnificant story...gives me a comforting feeling to be able to spread the joyous news, the news that is still as amazing as it was over two thousand years ago. Enjoyed this much my friend. Wishing you a very merry Christmas from the mountains of Ky.

It is one way to come together. I love holy days because they give us time to pause and think why we are here.

Unfortunately, the whole world doesn't believe the same.

Eileen,

So beautifully written my friend. I find it so strange that a similar belief so world-wide and there is still so much bitterness and hate in the world. Perhaps one day, at another time and place, there will be peace. For now let's feast on that beautiful scene above your poem and pray that our dreams aren't for naught. Love, Peace and Blessings to You Always My Dear Friend, Paul.
