Wow, what a Dream

I took a walk in the meadow
keeping my thoughts  in  a row
got stung by a bee while picking a flower
then suddenly it started to shower
I ran for shelter under a huge oak tree
the rain soft, warm, and gentle on me
it stopped as quickly as it had started
I was only damp when I departed

Leaving the shelter of the oak
came upon a frog listened to it croak
much to my dismay and delight
the frog became a handsome knight
he sat upon a stallion of black
whisked me up onto its back
off we galloped towards the sun
to a playground full of fun

On the way we passed an outpost
where my knight turned into a ghost
then the  horse became a ship at sea
where a pirate had hold of me
so confused I became hysterical
the pirate began to sing quite lyrical
he said as we sailed the seven seas
he would do all he could to please

I relaxed for he was quite handsome
his words seemed to have some wisdom
just when I thought it would be alright
I awoke in the forest in darkest night
I heard wolves howling nearby
and thought "I'm too young to die"
I could hear myself begin to scream
I never woke up from this dream~

(The frog did;-)

So ... if the frog woke up and you didn't, that means the prince wrote the poem?!? LOL Never try to decipher a dream when you yourself just woke up and don't know down from up ... LOL Well done, Eileen, mesmerizing!

My vet treated a frog for shock and my therapist have had long seasons trying to understand the frog nightmares.
He ain't no prince but a very scared little frog! ! !
