Just before dawn arose I saw a star
Fade into the blue, pink sky of morn
I felt instincts quicken for places afar
Of where the Bethlehem babe was born
My heart all aflutter I pictured Him
From His birth to what He would become
I wondered why I felt filled to the brim
Then realized who the feeling came from
I sang out joyful praises of delight
Things felt all aglow in a special way
Being filled with God's new born light
I 'll forever recall this divine day
Whatever may be the rhyme or reason
I hope you enjoy this wondrous season
