Wintry Skies

Poem Artwork

Purple paint purloined the sky
From  ever beautiful blues
Creators brush never runs dry
He gives us different views

Radiant reds were sinking fast
The orbs of light were changing
Soon the light of day is past
The night is rearranging

In indigo and silver shades
With starlight sparkles spreading
Moonlight in soft glissades
With tender lovers threading

Until the glorious dawn arrives
Pink clouds and yellow Sun
In newborn day we come alive
Creation  once again begun

And with the joy of Christmas time
Snow falls from wintry skies
We share our thoughts in wondrous rhyme
Never knowing what may surprise

gREAT PHOTO, GREAT WRITE, LOVED IT, WINTER CAN BE SO SOOTHING WHEN WE SEE IT LIKE THIS. sUMMER CANNOT BE TOO FAR BEHIND EITHER, SO WE'LL WAIT FOR WARMER WEATHER TOO. wINTER IS HARSH BUT i CAN ABIDE IT FOR A FEW MONTHS MORE.
