Just remembering a great lesson my Mom taught us at an early age. I passed this on to our children and pray they too will pass it on.

Have you realized
That yesterday is gone,
Tomorrow will never come
All you have is today, this moment.
Never put off today what you could have done.
Never have a reason to have any regrets

as soon as the sun topples the eastern horizon
its just another today
and those that are waiting for tomorrow

Excellent advice that all should follow. I'll tell you a personal story that caused me to feel this way. I used to work with a lady who had two small children. They were moving in a new house the very next day. My friend asked her small son if he wanted to wear his new pajamas to bed that night and he said excitedly No, I'm saving them for my NEW house tomorrow. That night there was a gas explosion and the boy didn't make it. How horribly sad! He should have worn those PJ's!!! That haunts me to this day. So USE what you have and don't SAVE for a rainy day. That rainy day may not come.
Wise words indeed cousin and with Christmas season upon us it is a great time to take stock and perhaps bury old grievances and reach out a hand in love and friendship. A great reminder...
