This is a Surmise

You trying to climb up a greased pole?
You run up the escalator on full roll?
You going for a stroll with hot soup in a bowl?
You washed your face and found a hairy mole?

Seems everything you do turns out wrong?
Like talking to a man who is deaf and dumb?
Your stuck in a place were you do not belong?
Get out of there, hitch a ride stick out your thumb.

Sometimes the best thing to do is run,
what ya gonna do if your leg-less?, excuse the pun.
Well ya can't run, you got to face the man,
unless you come up with a better plan.

There ain't no plan better, believe you me.
Take the bull by the horns, I am sure you agree.
