She watches the days passing
And wonders,
When will all the effort
Pay off?
When will her run of bad luck,
Of self-inflicted gunshot wounds
To the feet,
Begin to turn around?
Sometimes life seems
To come at her
All at once,
Overwhelming her
And discouraging her
Because no matter how hard she tries,
She can't seem to overcome
Herself.
When our mirror reflects an image of despair it is time to compose our face, smile and give that mirror a heck of a surprise.
The best way is not to go around obstacles but jump over them to show our contempt.
