I've often been accused
Of lacking the social graces
Necessary for
Good interaction,
It is something
I strive to overcome,
And to correct.
Yet, sometimes I blunder
And am left
To apologize
And try to salvage
The remains
Of the relationships
I sought to foster.

My most fervent hope
That
I will be able
To get better
At this
In time.
And here is my thought after reading these lines: maybe lack of social grace holds the most grace, kind of like ‘silence is golden’ or ‘still water runs deep,’ or’awareness isn’t always talking…or doing, it is ‘noticing.’ ~~ djl
Your stories are filled with characters that have wonderful social graces. It seems strange that you would consider yourself less social. But, I'm not in your shoes so I'm not sure what it is you are unsocial about.
