Happy St. Patty's Day To All. Everyone knows there are three things we Irish like to do, drink, fight and, well you know. This Is A Dirty Little Ditty So If You Like Things Squeeky Clean Don't Read It.

Wild Irish Rover
(A Bawdy Irish Drinkin Song)
By La Belle Rouge

There was a wild rover
Who traveled around
And he kissed all tha colleens
In Dublin he found

He'd hug em and kiss em
And then try his luck
At gettin them colleens
Ta give him a f??k

And the Wild Irish Rover
Was so brash and so bold
And that Wild Irish Rover
Was dead before he was old

He went ta tha tavern
To get a wee dram
But got drunk on green guiness
And dina give a damn

If he tole all them drinkers
What he'd like ta do
Ta sweet Kathleen O'Malley
Before night was through

And tha Wild Irish Rover
Put his foot in his mouth
And tha whole noisy tavern
Growed quiet as a mouse

Then up ta tha bar
Stepped a giant of a man
And he slapped that ole rover
With the back of his hand

Then with his big fists
John O'Malley did pound
That dirty wild Rover
Right into the ground

And the Wild Irish Rover
Learned a lesson that night
And the wild Irish Rover
'Ner seen the dawn's light

So all a ye chasers
Of bosoms and skirts
And all a ye rogues
And all a ye flirts

You better be careful
Whose skirt you do chase
Before a mad father
Puts you in your place

And the Wild Irish Rover
Was so brash and so bold
And that Wild Irish Rover
Was dead before he was old

And the Wild Irish Rover
Was so brash and so bold
And that Wild Irish Rover
Was dead before he was old

Enjoyed this immensely. Glad I made it through youth unscathed, thanks to my lack of Tom Foolery back then.

Love it. Reminds me of the songs my dad used to sing.
He was as Celtic as they come.
