On the dark, mournful day the magic died
Nine muses hung their heads and cried
Disappeared beneath the shadowed mists
Lavish land brave lords of legend kissed
Enchanted passed though ordinary’s door
When the Kingdom Of Camelot was no more
Camelot your brightest banners waved
In your streets a constant proud parade
Of noble knights and their ladies fair
Who could even imagine, who would dare
To contemplate your end would draw near
Eyes filled with tears and hearts with fear?
The ancient landmarks welcomed the sun
And plotted the stars when night had come
The chants of druids soon in silence to end
And never mid the pillars to be heard again
Sprites and wood nymphs their faces hide
On the dark, mournful day the magic died
We yet vision you lost in shadows of time
And as circling years continuously unwind
Forgotten Celtic songs drift on a mystic wind
Ere we visit Avalon and Camelot again
In our souls the magic is ever alive and well
Mid the tales of Camelot hearts still tell
May we always reign in it's beauty LaBelle!
It will never die in my heart!
Hold high the whispering thoughts...
Happy!! NEW YEAR my friend, may 2008 of unhappiness and great health, that will never end!for you and your family!

AWESOME deep felt stirring poem! in my soul! Thank YOU for sharing yours! May the magic remain flowingggggg and strong!AS you are about to cast out another poem out of me, dear sweet lady!
this is especially dear to my heart, Belle, living literally a 30 minute drive from the reputed hallowed grounds of Avalon and Camelot, I believe. And yes, their is most certainly the sense of magic, mystery and mysticism in the airs there and the light is most extraordinary. The architecture may be lost, but the grounds bear witness to a spiritual presence still. Love the soul in this poem, and the fellowship therein... almost Lord Of The Rings-like! You will be our Red Lady Queen Guinevere here in this place always. Bless you and have the most wonderful of New Year celebrations, Darlin. I hope you're well. Love Kaladriel Kate xx
Such beautiful poetry, such beautiful music will keep Camelot alive, if only in memory. Well done, La Belle, nice to see you back. Hope you are feeling MUCH better.
(((HUGS))) and love, and Happy New Year,
Karla.

Magic will never die as long as there are those willing to believe.
Loved the verse and the music. Hope you are felling better.
Happiest of New Year's ever to you Labelle. Now where is that Christmas floggin you promised?
Beautifully worded!!! The magig will never die, because it lives in the hearts and souls of all the poets in the world...and within the gentle essence of pure and simply being...
Keep the magic alive, M'Lady,
Jim
Smooth and flowing with the mystic words of the old bard's style, I enjoyed this and read it several times before commenting. I am a believer in Magic and as long as magic dwells in our hearts as the last verse hints...can it truly ever die. Great one la Belle.
hugs and what a way to end the old year or bring in the new.
Being of Celtic descent, this "speaks" powerfully to me. Graphic image, music and verses complement one another most effectively to present a fine creative gift. Thank you, Belle. Love and best wishes to you,
Finally, the commentary that adds even more to the diagramed version of The Easy Study Bible. Follow the diagramed verses of this new clear translation with a verse by verse commentary. Understand even better the New Testament book of Philippians.
