I PONDER WITH PETE I asked my brother Pete this day Imagine Loyal friend The horror of suddenly realizing EVERYTHING We hold dear All lessons learned from childhood Relationships Family traditions Religious beliefs The crux of all things Sacred in our lives Was a lie We pondered for a moment As babes Born into slavery Social Security incarceration Childhood grooming of sorts Force fed blatant fallacies By our state funded schools Then strictly evaluated On our mastery of the drivel Driven to graduate Gobble up the farce With a certain degree of excellence To gain any �legal� financial success As we grow We are bound by laws we did not vote for Nor do we support them Should we choose to resist Then we are beaten half silly Labeled dissidents Bound away for life With other �troublemakers� So many �thugs� incarcerated Their only crime Possession of rolled Mother Nature Hardly career criminals We are forced to support political bullies Who rape and pillage at will In the name of Homeland Security We are nurtured by medications To control our every impulse Numb apathy Our Doctors Financially joined at the hip With stalwart Pharmaceutical Companies Owned by Elitist shadow bankers New World Government plans Moving along nicely People who speak out against such tyranny Branded agitators Terrorists Traitors Rebels Me. A 47 year old peacenik Disciple Following Christ Trying hard to love my brother Not a radical per say But truth is what it is I have support in my quest Gabriele Michael Two of God�s finest Always a heartbeat away They don�t condone this garbage either I bid us all peace Common sense QUESTION THAT WHICH STRIKES US AS WRONG Odds are IT IS � Bill Grimes Jr. 2006

We have two choices, Bill; we can remain powerless victims or we can find the truth and live it in our personal lives. We must teach by example, for happiness and living well are always the best revenge. If we decide to do battle, we must choose our battles well, because any one of the above mentioned, would surely sap all of our energy and probably leave us bitter and angry. We are responsible for the world within which we live, either by inherited laws, rules and ideals or by the ones we have allowed to become in our lifetime. We live amid the masses and often our choices are made by others, but none of that can take away our pride and self-respect if we follow the path that we know to be true. Lot's of food for introspective thought in your words. We still have the power, we just allow others to make us believe otherwise.
