Ebb and flow
As people grow
Never to return
Devastation
Stunning blow
Ashes sway the urn
Bittersweet
Love’s despair
Versifier’s curse
Misery
Exceeds repair
Comprehension worse
Satisfied
I ventured
Beyond the safe lagoon
Freedom
Now indentured
Wailing at the moon

what genre does it adhere to?
i cannot decide whether i like the concept of ebb and flow.
sometimes it seems so forced and that makes me sad.
but the ideas you have presented in your piece are good.
they seem like concrete weighting down of a close to abstract idea of nature...
well done.
