SHHHHHH-- Do they like the adrenaline rush? Do they like feeling all powerful? WAIT-- Others are in hiding to be the next hot spot. Others are waiting for their chance to "get" us. YES! Others are in hiding, waiting for instructions. Others are waiting and it won't be a game. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Others are in hiding, wanting to celebrate. Others are waiting to take their place. WHY???
Karla, I respect every honest, good soldier, who tries his best in situations that can be close to hell. I don't respect politics, and their leaders, who push for war when peace is an option. Freedom is only a blessing, if it comes with dignity and justice.

You really nailed it, Karla. They go because they believe that without liberty, life is not worth living. They go because they want to make the world safer for their children. They go because in their heart and soul, they understand that it is the right thing to do. Many won't go, many feel that it is a job someone else should do. Many think freedom comes with no price tag. Freedom isn't free, and the red in our flag is a representation of the blood that has been spilled that we may live in a free land. This is a wonderful write, Karla. Thank you for the post. You did them right!

and keep it free. Those who say otherwise, just don't get it.

makes me want to scream and help them out!! I know they don't go for the 'evil' of it all. They go for the GOOD of it all although it hurts and is a very sad and tragic thing this thing called War. Thank you for this reality from your serving in our armed forces. Thank You for going to fight for My Freedom. You are a Very Brave young Lady and I Admire, Respect and Honor and Stand for you.!! Thank you Karla, for my Freedom and my Peace. I thank the Lord for your safe return.
