Keep writing my life. What you are saying makes mine beautiful. :)

Poem Artwork

You wrote me when you wrote this poem.
Somehow you got deep inside me,
into the private places I kept hidden
and brought them into the light.
You expressed me better than I ever could ...
You told me what my nerves were screaming
when you wrote of the pain;
you understood my beating heart
and showed me what it means to be loved
and what it meant to be broken.
You explained the anger I felt
and allowed me to have a safe place to rant;
You penned the breath in my lungs
and exhaled me onto the page;
you took my soul into your pen
and described my life exactly
as I am living it ...
I saw my life flash before me
when I read your words:
It's as though you knew me ...
You wrote me when you wrote this poem.

Karla- that is beautiful and so TRue...The words keeps popping in my head-Connection- and it's just that. Writing for me, and seeing and feeling someone elses fears-happiness etc. and writing from being in their shoes and along with my experiences of the heart- I'm glad you got this out and into the O P E N.. I've had many writers write my feelings for me lately- and when it happens,I find myself being gousted into a memory and a Poem or article appears out of midair... It's a Grand feeling as you know-- Keep writing on- on and on....WArmly,Sheee P.S. Thank you for all your kind words of the heart you wrote toward my writings........ I appreciate! WE are all meant to write to TOUCH another humans heart and Soul- I find this to be true and I am being told. Awesome discovery huh--- God Bless you with Wisdom and Joy beyond measure-

I think that is what poetry is meant to do, tell the story of life, yours, mine, theirs and everyone who has lived has a story. It is a comfort to know sometimes that others have known what we have experience or are experincing. Powerful and open hearted write Karla.

Wonderful words , the emotion is fairly running down the page, let it out to roam free so that inner place finds peace! with warm regards, Sandi

Karla, this is so excellent! Every now and then someone would write my soul with her/his words. Absolutely powerful write! I can so relate, I'm sure we all can! Love it!

I don't trust my pc ... it got re-formatted but it seems to be jealous ofte AD, so let me write more but post this quickly before she decides to freeze up. I'm beginning to thing she is a he ... lolol ... too much jealousy. Or it could be the poem I write ranting about her that did it ... lol ... All the same beautiful poignant write!

God bless, Karla!

And don't so many do this exact thing here? Like a kaleidoscope of the fractured hall of mirrors that many of us might be. Beautifully and passionately expressed, Karla, with heat and attitude - and gratitude! This happened in a special way for me with Dawn's poem "Call To Glory" this week (I'm sure she won't mind me sayin! :)) and it is like a knife through butter when that happens. And YOU do this too, more often than perhaps we care to admit: highlighting both our beauty and merits - and also the "warts and all" - which I, for one, NEED to see - e.g. your Insanity poem. This is like one of my favourite coined-phrases: Roberta's "Killing Me Softly" - for good and for bad - but ALL great! TY for this and for Singing Ma Soul, Babe! LOL Kate xx

I know this feeling you express through this write. Do you recall the images of a person looking into a mirror and they see another mirror and another all with reflections of themselves? This is how this poem touched me......a reflection within a reflection of a reflection reflecting.
