Thank you, Author's Den friends, readers of my words, for your prayers, love and inspiration. I am forever grateful. :)
I stopped writing poems yesterday, because there was nothing in my life worth mentioning; there was no happiness or beauty. Everything was colored in deep shades of depression, and I couldn't figure out which way lead out of this house of horrors I found myself in.
But then I read your words; they came in just when I needed them the most, and they took me in, never mind that I felt dirty and was afraid some of my ugliness would rub off on you ... You enveloped me with love and prayers, pointed me in the right direction, and lead me out.
And everything is new again ... it's like I've been magically transformed, been born anew - I see the world with new eyes, and what's been revealed was always there, in front of my face ... and so, I must pick up the pen and dance with the Northern Lights once more in celebration.
God speaks to us through each of us and blesses us every day. Words can break us or make us. It's a matter of what we want to listen to, and obviously you've listen to the right words. So you continue to write because it is His gift to love and cherish.

I have seen this kind of revivial of spirits in my own life so many, many times. I think that He allows us to fall prey to the gloom and doom syndrome so we will understand just how foolish we are when we see the sunshine shining through. Good for you.
