Storms: all I know. That, and
sadness, lately. Moods as
tempestuous as the sky. Calm
one moment, bursting with
tears the next ... I cannot tell
which way the winds will
blow or how high life's seas
will get. All I can do is
pray they be merciful and let
me down slow and easy,
because the waves are bigger
than mere words can swim.

And above all keep writing; don't give up your dreams!!!! Don't worry about others; write for YOU. To HECK with everyone else; concentrate on YOU, think of the joy writing brings to you! Are you in the change of life Karla, or in a severe depression? Not funny stuff, something deep inside you can't around and out? Maybe all that bad weather and all them storms, you've picked up its mood.

True, the world is a rough place with bloody storms always breaking out somewhere and that's just the wars. When we get into people's lives it is tempestuous too. The one consoling thought is that time heals all wounds and turns tempestuous skies blue. The sadness comes in waves, doesn't it. Eventually, if we still breathe, that too shall pass.
The experience of a young adult trying to figure out what they want to do for employment or education can be overwhelming. My book will give them insight to what it means to be a carpenter. And the progress unions have made in discrimination.
