The tapes I wanted to erase stuck
on "Play," especially now. The
same scenes, over and over (you
know which ones, don't have to
tell you). You were there, as was
I, as was the rest of the Nation,
the world: can't deny it happened.
Saw it unfolding before our eyes
on the news (and for many days,
after, all channels receiving the
same signal). Sometimes, in the
middle of the night, they wake us
up with screams of terror. And
sometimes, they come out in
broken lines of rememberance.
You ask: would I want these
tapes destroyed? Yes, and no:
afraid if they are, I will forget ...
Karla 911 was the work of terrorists and has nothing to do with islam of religion. We are sorry of what happened to the innocent people fate had placed them in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is hard to forget such a disaster, I agree. But please let us work together and let the whole world work on how to avoid such things to happen again.

I don't think anyone will forget that day Karla, but to look and refresh our memories now and then of just how vunerable mankind can be in the hands of lunatics is worth the pain of remembering.

It is not something that I will ever forget. Even though I live far from NYC, I saw the second airplane hit in real time. Would that all such tragedies and war were gone from this planet. Thank you, Karla. Love and best wishes,
I will never forget that day as I was working, a 911 dispatcher, in another place but still dealing with emergancies, while these scenes played out on a small TV they brought into our dispatch room...
