... getting dark and i'm scared: ....

Poem Artwork

... can i write one thing without
mentioning the weather?  storms:
natural, and life's:  all i know, lately --
clouds of depression.  where you
see the sun, i hear thunder.  getting
dark, and i'm scared:  Lord, where
is the rainbow?  can't see it for the
million tears falling from my eyes ...

Your fear will [I trust] be as short-lived as the foul weather. In the mean time you are more present in my prayers.

God bless you. Kathy

Rainbows mean a continual promise, seen doubled when friendships join together hunting for God's beauty in the skies. It's all in how you look at it... Keep your chin up!

Where is the rainbow? I think most of us are wondering that, these sad days.

You write about what you know best, Karla, and you do it so well! Please keep on writing; it will help you cope with deep feelings that need to be released! I will pray for you, and I hope you see the sunshine again soon!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :(

Great display of emotions, and love the piccy!

Sweetie, most of the time we are oblivious to our intrinsic connection with Nature; we are, in fact, a part of it, and our "inner weather" reacts as much to seasons and environmental issues as the climate itself, for we are alive and we are sentient, as the earth and the atmosphere are. Don't be scared; the sun will come through the clouds; and, like through raindrops, the glow of your inner light will refract, through your tears, in all the beautiful colours of a renewed inner vision. Yes, like a rainbow.
A big, big, warm, warm, glowing, glowing {{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}}}

Hi Karla,

Take care and be safe. "Ike" was really temperamental - the sun will rise tomorrow and you'll stand again. (The "million tears" was really a great term).
