sky. Is
falling. Again.
A cloud shifts its
load, dumps: an end
less train of wet. And on
the other side of the tracks, a
child looks into the heated face
of the sun and begs for an end
to the drought that took the
grass and his Mommy two
years ago. Ours verdant
with celebration of life
that is in the
rain ...

We have had much RAIN this summer, but have to remember to thank God for it. It keeps those water tables healthy.

I love this poem Karla. Yesterday it was blue skies and 102 degrees here in my part of California. Today it's gray skies and the pitter patter of rain. Not enough to do any good, just enough to splatter summer's dust around.
