Poem Artwork

the earth sleeps under a
mantle of white, snuggled
in for the long winter's
nap.  i bed down within
my blankets, close my eyes
and breathe spring's promises.

love the poetry and love snuggling into the blankets too..

I watched several critters burrow this past fall to hibernate for the winter...it always amazes me how that works and how they survive...

I've been home with the flu for past 2 days doing the same damned thing. I've watched more UFO programs on History Channel than I can imagine. Be good.

It would be cool to wake up and find that months have pssed and it is Spring.
But those unpaid bills would be a killer.
Guess I'll settle for the nap.
Much enjoyed Karla.
