A little black kitty has been hanging around the apartment complex, meowing her head off. I call her Little Screamer. Poor baby ... they don't allow pets here, or I'd adopt her in a second. :(

It breaks my heart to see animals out and about with no home, I fear of other animals tearing them apart for food. Best call a shelter for Little screamer.
What a little cutey. Check your phone books for local animal rescue groups, and see if you can get one of them to take her in. Most feral kittens can become excellent indoor pets if rescued early enough. If they are left on the mean streets too long, they become unadoptable - and in this little cutey's case, she'll soon get pregnant, and there'll be more starving little kittys, that no one wants.
Try talking with the landlord and maybe they will help to find that baby a home. Sorry you can't keep her, sounds so sweet, but the more you feed her the more she will keep coming back. You are still doing the right thing because it is too hot for that little one.
I would adopt her in a second too and Abby would mother her LOL! I wish they would make an excpetion I know that I am grateful to have Abby and Cindy!

So sadly stated, Karla. Lost, homeless and abused animals always rip at my heart, as with most other's also. Sad thing is, though, if you or someone else were to pick the kitty up and bring it to an animal shelter, someone may adopt it, or maybe not. But is being humanisticaly put down worse than being homeless and starving?

As I think I said before, you could keep her as an outside cat, but even just feeding her now is making her want to stay so she is YOUR complex cat either way...ed
