'... she was my champion, cheering me on (and I, her). ...'
Happy Birthday, Karen. I love you. Thank you for being there, always, to share the joys and the sadness of life. There's no one I'd rather spend my days with than you.
She was with me for the first day of my life, before,
even. She was with me when Mom and Dad were
told that we wouldn't make it, that we would die.
Born too soon, my twin sister and I. She was with
me through the hard early days when it seemed
the doctors' predictions would come true , but we
had each other to lean on. When we said our first
words and took our first tentative steps into
childhood, she was my champion, cheering me
on (and I, her). It's still like that. We grew up and
spread our wings, ready to catch each other when
we fell. We were separated for a time, thanks to
the USAF, but we're two peas in a pod again:
when you see one, you usually see the other. I
almost lost her, twice. My twin sister is my hero,
my strength, the best birthday present, EVER.
God knew what He was doing when He blessed
me with her. And so, I say, 'Thank You, Lord.'
SO BEAUTIFUL AND INSPIRING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU BOTH AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. PEACE, LOVE, AND BLESSINGS. < < < <HUGS>>>> Mikii
