Poem Artwork

Full of fury

Replete with desire

Unafraid to reach
Into the body of our aching desires

Unafraid to express, undress, caress
Our choice to move onward

Into the realms of our secret convictions
Into the conditions set before us
Into the stipulations surrendered to

Such is how we unravel our pretenses
How we purge our souls of doubt
And laugh at the suspicions
Enduring the centuries between us

Giving into the inherited memory of our distant dreams

So we dance to the motion of the stars
Knowing we are the source of their imagination

Knowing we are the offspring
Of creative devotion

Valuing the journey
Growing within our eyes

Blending our visions
Into the patterns
Of our developing lives

Lately, I have concluded that not all share in the inherited memories. If we all did, then we would all know the same truths. And clearly there are many who don't. Jude, a most excellent poem. And wonderful graphic. ~ Sara

Great graphic. Our minds open to the ever "developing
lives" we lead. So true.

Well done Jude and so true, the mind is the real path that opens before us in this life and only our ability to open it to all restricts how far this path will take us. As always you make the reader pause and think which is such a great thing for a writer to be able to do.

Like a mind-expanding drug, this poem grabs hold of the reader and propels them into a sea of splendor and endless possibilities. Reaching beyond that which we can physically prove and stepping into the next dimension helps us to believe in the promise of eternal life and joy. A perfect Jude poem!
Take care,
Sherry

It is the most wonderful thing if we were so lucky that the first stars that formed were also the brightest! Developing Lives deciphers the blending blueprint for the cosmic dawn. A 23-line poem read in a one-minute animated film, a picture of theory, dislodged from the orbit, strewn like spilled paint! Stellar write, Jude! Gravity will yank the Milky Way and Andromeda back together in their violent tango!

"how we purge our souls of doubt"...what comes to mind is how things can be so uncertain. there's some may ways to go but where is certainty. but we know inside, we know the answers, the frame but do we have the courage to live it. wonderful, jude. ~A

You describe the joy and reckless abandon of the inquisitive and perceptive mind, that is forever seeking more information and knowledge, amassing the ephemeral truths and convictions on the road of true enlightenment Jude !
Your own graphic is truly awesome

Wow. What an explosion of spiritual vision and cosmic assurrance. At the end of the first line, a rocket takes off, and by the end of the last, we've landed in a field of endless possibilities.

Good wordplay concerning the ever-reaching possibilities of the written word and the honesty which go into the seriousness of the authors and scribes who are involved in this labor of love to make sense of it all. Good.
