i could build an altar with the words you sing. .. "altered once again"
if we could but wrap that spirit as we do a blanket, to keep away the cold, the wounds of arrows, or in veritas, to wrap and keep our truths together. . .sew us as one, patch our holes, weave a design of grace... .
if i could do that. ...wrap up good and tight... .
my fears would be shushed. ..
my skin would be warm. .
