On the pulpit he mounts
Echoeing the volume on high
How he shall move the world
How he shall feed the flock
How to put the truth in his mouth.
“I will die to be a matyr”
Daily topic of his sermon
Forcing people to accept
To shed their blood for God
Till he had to face the trial.
A man dropped a knock-out
The explosion tore the peace
Through the window the preacher jumped
Coming later to defend his act
To shave away the shame he imported.
“It is good to save the life
God will ask the question
“Why do you stay to die?”
This is how he decieves
