Summer Solstice Dream 2010

The Stonehenge players dance
welcoming the longest day
and the shortest night.

Floral wreaths adorn their heads,
while glistening bodies dance naked
beneath the pagan moonlit night.

I see your energy beckoning me,
to share this midsummer's night
enticing my soul to become one.

The level of attraction is unending
sending waves of love into this
glorious midsummer's evening.

I am your lover,
you fulfill my desires,
while pagan drums stoke our fires.

The beat of these drums,
send messages throughout my body,
tempting fate, charging wanton pleasures!

The night is intoxicating,
Your desire is overpowering,
My defenses are falling to the ground.

You come up behind me, touching my neck
with your hot breath of fire
sending shivers of unending pleasure.

I am lost within this midsummer dream
never to awaken from our pagan love
knowing anything is possible when you believe.
