A spirit such as yours Amber is incapable of trespassing on anyone's heart. The answer to the question you are seeking resides in your own heart, if the love you offer is reflected short, then it is time to continue your sojourn towards your ultimate and true destiny. I have been there once or twice in my life and have wasted many good years on a relationship that in my heart of hearts knew was not "the one". If and when I ever give up my bachelorhood again, it will be for life with a woman I know will reflect the respect and love that I will unconditionally give. This tears at the mind and the heart, Amber. Such a battle between what is (un)known and what is perceived, perhaps loading the questions that continue to burn. How can it be trespass, though, if you genuinely think yourself to be invited - as you state in your second stanza? On the other hand, if you don't feel the energy to be returned, why is it that you feel that the door to this heart continues to be openly inviting? These are conundrums for certain sure and ones that you may have to seek answers to in the stillness and truth of your own counsel. An "incapability", "affliction" or a dispositional tendancy to not communicate true feelings is one thing; an unwillingness to do so is entirely another. But I think your title is some comfort here: trespasses are perhaps deliberate acts of violation - of which you cannot be guilty if you are genuinely "misguided". It's a wretched place to feel oneself in, Amber. I feel deeply for you in this. Bless you, and may your answers come - one way or another! :)) xx

I concur with George. But damn, isn't that the way it always is? You never get the one you want, you get the one you get. Hardest lesson I ever learned was: I'd rather be alone than settle. And very often, if you do get the one you want, it turns into utter shipwreck. Sometimes we have to surrender to the plan, whatever that is. My little plans and designs generally blow up in my face...the modern-day alchemist with 3rd degree love potion burns scarring my fragile skin. Then like an idiot, I go right back into the lab. Sheesh! I'll never learn. Nice poem, admire the humility. Helps to get it out of your head and into the ether. Take care.

Amber I have been stalked, there is a very big difference in giving someone admiration and attention than infringing on their life and demanding that they give themselves totally to you. I can't imagine anyone not accepting the kind of open care and honest affection. I think intelligent people will know the difference and return the admiration in like kind.

Dump the guy quick, he is not worth the attention you are giving him.
