Poem Artwork

Blah Blah Blah
That’s all I hear of late
Spin Spin Spin
Deceit and Deception create
The Truth Tellers they hate
Its only truth and integrity at stake
When lies become Truths
And Truths turn opaque
Who can we trust?
Who’s word and we take?
What we have here is one huge mistake
So what’s left to do?
What actions pursue?
If only I knew
I would share it with you.

Sorry cannot resist this urge to share My Blah-blah poem with you!!

Written August 10, 2003

So no offense okay...just me ranting way back then!!

The Blah-Blah Poet

Yes I am the Blah – Blah – Blah fool!!
Poet? Na –Na or maybe
Let me set the record straight
I put my thoughts to paper
I share my pain with you
I talk too much when it hurts
That is the way I cope with my pain
While others ask some questions
I just Blah – Blah – Blah… no not gossip!!
But when I write poetry… Ha!!
You think I am insane
Or a menopausal disaster in self-pity
Let me tell you one thing
Don’t you ever under-estimate
My ability to “B#tch on you
So just let go… poke me if you wish
I won’t sink that low…
To drown myself… in this self-pity
I have too much self-respect
So rather call me a Blah – Blah – Poet
Than a B#tch… Okay!!

NOT YOU okay ....HIM!!

This is the 64 thousand dollar question, no doubt. Good observations.
