Negativity Demons

Poem Artwork

In the depths of the night

When all are asleep

The negativity demons

Hasten to enter into dreams

Dreams that haunt

And open old wounds

Letting out pain and sorrow

From deep within the soul

A desolate cry from the dreamer’s lips

Chill those who are still awake

Bone deep chills from a mournful cry

Catching them up in the sadness and pain

The painful cry of one who has been hurt

Cut to the bone time and again

Rejected by all who came along

And all who will come hence

Negativity demons lurk

Awaiting the opportunity

To knock at life’s door

And cause it more pain

Demons that wait for dreams

To usher them into the psyche

Where havoc is theirs to wreak

And chaos follows as a companion

Pray to the Higher Power

For the dreamers

For the end of the pain

For the souls tossed in the demon’s storm

Demons stirr up our weak spots and feed on them, sort of like dracula taking blood, the old folks used to hang a string of garlic around their neck, can also be used for prayer beads, when things get real bad, and to keep away unwanted boyfriens etc, in my heritage it was called an alpdruck, translated loosely means a mountain sitting on your chest and the accommodating pressure therefrom, focus on what is realy important to you with love, and they will find no space! Blessings and Love dear Ann! Jasmin Horst

Scarey poem: but lately I've had better luck at night then in the day; I find solid relief from the constant cyclical pains I have in the day; although I excell the best in short naps. I may be wasting my life?! Interesting poetic subjects
Trucking'll cure you of all this, if you promise to stay awake!

Negativity can enter into ones day, but it is harder to deal with when you're asleep. It creates a havoc that just wears you out.

I agree - prayer helps me "cut" through the negativity crap. In the daylight I have the strength to combat it and succeed. It helps lessen the night garbage.

Annie,
You are absolutely right! I always do a meditation before bed and call in my angels and my Indian spirit guide to protect me while I am asleep. It works I never have bad dreams..The few times I did, they were fore warnings of some events that were coming.
I shall put you in my meditation healing circle this evening and spread some good peaceful and joyful energy your way...Sleep in peaceful slumber, awaken in joyful splendor..
Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V"
