I read this last night, and reread again this morning and it feels like a yearning for understanding and yet as amber suggested perhaps he sees and feels more than she thinks. When two people love each other they both become a little vunerable. The need for reassurance and assurance is needed by everyone...this is intense Chrissie but one of your best.
