Ouch! No words can describe the loss. When trust is broken the glass cuts so deep it can make on numb. Great poem about a sad situation.

Something surreal in the transition between one image to the other. I could almost imagine this visually, like a smile painted on his jacket, like a flying floor that hits her face. And then, think of it metaphorically.
