~~~ started sketching a self-portrait one day but quicky gave up. this is what i drew instead. ~~~

Wise woman of white buffalo resides within my breast. Unyielding to earthly demands, she summons me to rest. In medicine pouch she carries symbols of healing, hope � herbs and plants, gemstones and berries bound with sinewy rope. Feather fixed behind her left ear gift of hawk, red-shouldered. She attunes senses, chases fear to ash of my pain, now smoldered. Strong healer, fair friend, daughter mine, God released you in me, breathed grace and turned water to wine. Clay scales removed, I see.
