Poem Artwork

Stars in my eyes,
still I could see
you had me
in yours.

When my rising star
fell too soon,
my gaze fixed by then
on your bright eyes,
I found

myself
right where I
had always been.

And it was then
that I allowed myself
to know,
to really know,
what I had always known:
that you, my sun, were
soul source
and inspiration.

When my falling star
begins to rise,
would that your bright eyes
be fixed then on me.
Oh, that you might find
yourself
here, right where you
have always been.

Stars in your eyes,
can you still see
I have you
in mine?
