Ms. Mouse’s Cheese House
By Kathy Armijo
Down the glen,
around the bend,
on the edge of town,
you’ll find a bit of heaven.
This isn’t your Mother’s Cheese House
nor for the faint of heart.
I offer a brie-illant spread of cheeses
to tantalize the palates.
There’s camembert
for those wearing horsehair,
and mozerella
for the other fella’s.
A little cheddar
for your apple pie,
or perhaps a little sharper
to make you stronger than Popeye.
But, this spread has just begun
to brighten
the likes of the Neanderthal poets.
No need to put up defenses.
A glass of wine
will make it all superbly fine.
Add some chocolate, dried fruit
And some crackers to boot.
Oh my gosh,
such a wonderful nosh.
Those Neanderthals
we’ll then wash.
These poets may spout
their poetry,
but they truly prefer the revelry
In Ms. Mouse’s Cheese House.
Take care,
Sherry
Blessings,

If that is the mouse that is after my cheese,
Show me to the showers, Pleeze!!

And we Neanderthal Poets will surely be stoppin by,
On our way to the Grand Creek Cave Poetry Recitals.
But you can skip the washin part, we'd rather stay dry,
Not bathing for this epic weekend event, is entirely vital!
