We are all fools in the game of love
we go back to infancy
screaming, fighting,
selfishly wanting-- ‘me, me, me’
we nose around
pretend to cry
toy with guilt
deny responsibilities
we do all but the most important things
we forget to love like a child
forgive like a child
play like a child
give like a child
and want nothing more
than to please the one we care about
no one can win in the game of love
unless they choose to practice
to love without a conscience
like a child

I love this poem, and especially love the caption underneath. --Never read it this way before, but just now, I imagined I heard myself telling me-- only way into heaven, is screaming, giggling, and in love...
It's almost sad to see kids go to school; they have to learn, but one of the first things they do is to be self-conscious of others and social norms - when that child-like spontansous absorbtion is so natural to then and hard for us adults to re-capture. But you said it well and ended it with the best quote ever told on the subject...
