(This touched my heart so much...because it is from my 4 year old homeschooler's mouth and she asked me to write it down for her as her very first poem...I could've died just watching her recite every line so nicely)

Poem Artwork

"Mama,
these are the things you are made of
you are made of blood
you are made of skin
you are made of bones
you're made of
delicate stuff"

(So I asked her where she got that from, and she said
"this is what God told me" She is determined to have book signings like me...she makes up all sort of songs and stories, so we are almost finished with our first children's book together, lucky me!)

These are the things a mom remembers forever...and your little girl will remember what you've done for her here. Moments like these are what make the relationship between mom and child so special. You are her teacher...and it seems a wonderful one!

Out of the mouths of innocents, who truly see - beautiful, Bernice. Give your little homeschooler a (((HUG))) for me - this is brilliant!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

That's beautiful. Promptings from Gods and mothers make a delicious jam of thought goodies. I shall slather it all over my toast and eat it... Mmmmmmm... --Charlie

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
