I love this! The artist might be Strudwick or Burne-Jones-the woman in the painting has "Burne-Jones" eyes, but a few artists he trained did them similiarly, like Strudwick. Excellent work.

Elegant and classical, Debby. The strictly metred and rhymed form you have chosen here beautifully frames your deep feelings so well expressed. I agree, more a tender love letter than a cold poem, more like a flickering flame than a spark, the words are telling not asking.
