Poem Artwork

I have taken a detour to Tears Town,
where I have not visited for some time;
I don't think I should have done this,
because the buckets of tears
still aren't worth anything.

Like a worthless ant,
I walked among its ruins;
I shouted for some attention,
but the town was empty.
No one was there to tend to the tears.

Why bother saving these buckets?
I thought to myself, aloud.
Just kick them silly, like everyone else did,
and end their sorrowful lives.
This Tears Town isn't meant to last anyway.

I put the words back into my pocket.
They weren't protesting.
They quietly went back there...without a sound.
No sense in writing them out now.
They aren't worth anything...anymore.

I like your honesty Sandie. Sometimes it helps to cry buckets of tears. After that you feel peaceful. Lots of hugs.

This beautiful poem from the depth of a lonely tear
Sure is welcome to share its words here.

I bet there's a lot of other heart felt poems in those buckets.
Dump them here.

Such a sad depiction, Sandie...I know your words are worth tears because I can certainly feel them while reading this. I hope you will take the words out of your pocket and put them on paper--oops...a harddrive--with MS Word...um um! Yes, create some more....

Creative and wise and great fun to read. Where have I run into that
combination before? Oh, yes. At Sandie Angel's place.

Keep surpassing yourself, you are going to need weights to keep you
from flying into the stratosphere, my friend.

Always, always, stay you,

Good conception of the "Feeling" that is expressed throughout this write. Hoping this is just an experimental write dealing with such emotion and not something you are experiencing at this time.

I'm sad that you are sad, Sandie, but this is a great poem. It has an innocent resignation about it that can only come from strength.

Sandie,

As long as you write, your words ARE worth it - the joys, AND the tears. Sad one today ... said a prayer for ya just now.
