This story is a combination of all my recurring dreams and dreams, and FICTIONAL stories.

Poem Artwork

I do not know where I am, nor do I know why I am here, except that when I came to, I found myself in this forest, running. I知 running as if someone or something is chasing after me.

I知 scared, and yet, I do not know what I知 afraid of. The time seems to be at midnight, because of the darkness that is surrounding me with the exception of streaks of silver moonlight that escape from between the trees and their leaves. I am aware that I am running on muddy fields, with slimy plants and leaves gathering at my bare feet.

There is the noise that is following me and it is becoming closer and louder as if whatever it is, it is finally catching up with me.

I need to run faster! I see narrow paths in front of me, some are only as wide as my feet, and I must walk/run down these paths carefully as if they were tightropes, or else I may fall over to the water on either side.

Oh, that noise! It is becoming louder and louder! It seems to be closer to me now! As I'm running along this path, I feel as though it is right behind me. I must run as fast as I can, even though I know not where I'm running to.

Wait a minute! Something is not quite right! I have come to a brick wall, and it is a very tall wall! Oh, please God! Help me! Please help me to climb over this big tall wall!

Suddenly, I see an opening near the top of the wall, and somehow I知 now so tall! Tall enough to reach that opening on the top of the wall! I poke my head through the opening, and begin to squeeze the rest of my body through.

Finally, I can see the other side! I open my eyes to see a green meadow as far as the horizon. It is daytime on this side of the wall, and the sun is shining brightly. I see a lot of people with animal heads, they are all standing around on the green meadows as if to welcome me there.

The noise that had been following me is now gone. It seems as though it belongs only to the other side of the wall. I see people with cow heads, ram heads, and heads in shapes of horses, and bulls. They are all very friendly people. They welcome me to their land.

I see lakes, ponds in beautiful gardens, I see pagodas, and temples built atop of a field of green. One of the people, the one in the ram's head, comes forward to greet me. We exchange conversation without speaking a word. We both understand each other.

SANDIE THIS DREAM IS SO INSPIRATIONAL; YOU CALLED ON GOD AND SUDDENLY YOU WERE TALL ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH THE HOLE AT THE TOP OF THE WALL INTO A BRIGHT, BEAUTIFUL PLACE. AS FOR THE PEOPLE WITH ANIMAL HEADS; IN THE BIBLE IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND ALSO OTHER PLACES, THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS REPRESENTED IN DIFFERENT WAYS THAT IS ACCEPTABLE AND MORE UNDERSTANDABLE TO SOME. I ENJOYED THIS, THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS.

I love your dreams. I have dreams that become nightmares with people from my past haunt me, people I don't want to see ever again. But they visit me in my nightmares.

You either have vivid dreams, a vivid imagination, or have been reading too much fantasy these days. While what you are seeing and doing isn't real, it seems solid enough to write about. When illustrated like the photo above, it comes to life And, if not too scary, could be the subject of a good children's book with pictures or drawings.
