Guess what? I had been just writing a brand new story last night about a husband and wife team, and a murder has taken place in it. I'm still writing the story. But as usual, this is just going to be another short story, as I don't think I have the patience yet to write a few hundred pages to make it a novel. I still have to practice on that yet. Will post the story when finished. Wishing you lots of fun writing and reading!
I had to go back and read parts 1 and 2 to make sense of your poem story. As a whole, it was good. From my comments, I was having trouble with the second part. Actually, the poem wasn't that long that it could've been posted as a single poem.
You got me thinking about my parents. My father brought home a paycheck, did the man's chores around the house until my brother and I got old enough to do them, read the newspaper a lot, listened to and watched his ballgames, drank a beer or two, and generally relaxed. Mom (who was not fat) got all of the household chores and did most of the garden chores when we had one. While Dad did a few home repair projects, Mom did most of the interior painting. All the while, Mom held down part-time and, sometimes, full-time jobs. I noticed the problem early. Mom got upset often because of all the work. Dad bought Mom laborsaving equipment to compensate. She liked that but had trouble paying the bills.
They retired. Dad stuck to his old ways. He often fell asleep reading or watching television while Mom worked in the kitchen. But there came a time when Dad learned to do dishes, vacuum, do the laundry, and even a little cooking, so they could both go out and see friends, play cards, go golfing, or touring.
If I wrote the story, Mom would dream of ditching Dad for a man that was more loving and helpful around the house. Dad would dream of making millions as a professional baseball player and play golf during the off-season with his buddies. He would never dream of killing his attractive household slave.
Harry's dream let him escape reality, at least for awhile. This kind of reminded me of who shot J.R. Ah, it was only a dream. But sometimes dreams do come true. Beware.

What a great ending to this story! I'm glad that has been all about Harry's dream. Seriously though, his wife should have a share to the household chores. Not fair for Harry to have to do them all.
