Animals are great. My dog thinks he is human. He won't fetch but stares at me with a confused look. He loves food from the table and not from his bowl. He hates the rabbit. He hates strangers. But he loves me. And that is what is important above all else.

A lot of getting into the minds of cats and dogs. They just want to be like us, except when they want to be like cats and dogs.
